Tottenham claimed a 4th successive Premier League victory after they narrowly overcame West Ham at the London Stadium
While Lamela was credited with the only goal of the evening by heading in Sissoko’s cross, Lloris made 4 outstanding saves to deny the hosts an equaliser. Arnautovic proved to be the main goal threat for the Hammers while Anderson failed to make an impact.
The home side launched an assault on the Tottenham penalty area in the closing stages, which culminated in Antonio firing a powerful effort over from the edge of the area. Although largely comfortable at the back, West Ham were unable to find a breakthrough for the second game running.
Majority of chances Spurs did create were blocked by West Ham bodies, and the Hammers were often allowed time to get men behind the ball.
